The NU 630 Multi-Axes machining center is a vertical/horizontal five-axis/five-face machining center with a fully moving column structure, which has four patents. It is designed with multi-purpose use and short force flow structure as the main design concept. Combined with a high-rigidity oscillating head, it forms a multi-axis machining center. Through the ±110° rotation range of the B-axis, the tool tip position can be changed quickly to perform high acceleration and deceleration and complex five-axis/five-face machining.

The worktable incorporates a C-axis rotary table, making the worktable and rotary table surfaces the same plane, forming a shared work platform for both three-axis and five-axis machining. This allows for simultaneous processing of different processes and workpiece shapes, saving overall machining time. Intelligent linear axis temperature rise compensation and a tool tip temperature rise deformation compensation system applied to the five-axis system offer cost-effectiveness highlights, requiring only 20-25% of the cost of optical scales and displacement gauges to control accuracy at 5-8μm. The KEB MTConnect® adapter’s Financial OEE function provides multiple KPI curve indicators, allowing customers to understand the current return on investment of each machine, workpiece production quality, and other information. It can analyze machine and processing capital, track important machine parameters, understand overall plant machine efficiency and cost monitoring, and calculate the Financial Utilization Rate (FOEE).
